The Musée Rodin is a French museum whose purpose is to preserve and disseminate the work of the sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). This property has two sites. The first is the Hotel Biron, located in the center of Paris, in the 7th arrondissement, not far from the Eiffel Tower. This mansion and its garden of almost three hectares house Rodin's sculptures and the drawings made by the artist, his collections, and various art objects. In the garden, you can discover famous statues like The Thinker, The Kiss, The Burghers of Calais, and The Gates of Hell. Inside the hotel, you can admire a thematic and chronological tour of Rodin's artistic life. The age of brass and the achievements of marble are represented. The second site is the Villa des brillants, in the suburbs of Paris, in Meudon. It authorized visitors to immerse themselves in the daily life of the sculptor since he lived there with his partner Rose Beuret. The furniture that the couple used, as well as their photographs, are on display. The tomb of Auguste Rodin is also located on this site in Meudon. ◄
