San Benedicto Island is the first to be visited on the list. Observing it from a distance gives an incredible spectacle. The vegetation is almost non-existent, giving this place a unique appearance. On the western part of San Benedicto, it is possible to see hills with bottomless lava canyons. However, there are more amazing things. The main activity of this place is, of course, diving. Some interesting sites include the Canyon, which is ideal for a gentle dive but full of surprises. Divers might see big-eyed trevally, barracuda or different kinds of wrasses. Some might even recognize a cleaning station for silvertip sharks.
The island of Socorro is the next stop, and its landscape differs from the previous area. By the way, the Mexican Navies have their main base in this area. That said, there are other dive sites here. Scuba and snorkeling enthusiasts will be in heaven with the many underwater expeditions. Cabo Pearce and Punta Tosca are preferred for seeing hammerhead and Galapagos sharks.
It is the ultimate stupefaction on the side of Roca Partida because it presents itself as a seamount rising from profound waters. The summit's highest point protrudes from the surface to 35 meters above the water. It's the ultimate perimeter to go down to great depths. Here, travelers have to hang tight because the currents are powerful. Sharks, barracudas, and yellowfin tuna, among others, also occupy the zone. Last but not least, a detour to Clairon is essential to complete the exploratory dives. ◄
