Jocelyne Béroard & Tony Chasseur: Creole Legends

Jocelyne Béroard, celebrated as the legendary diva of Creole zouk, and Tony Chasseur, one of the most recognizable voices of the Caribbean, unite for a one-night-only concert that serves as the opening event of the 25th edition of the Mois du Créole in Montréal. The show takes place at the historic Ludger-Duvernay Theatre inside Monument-National, with a single performance beginning at 20:00.

The evening promises a musical journey spanning zouk, biguine, kreol jazz, and the vibrant rhythms of the wider Caribbean, performed in an atmosphere described as elegant, warm, and festive. Both headline artists will be backed by a group of exceptional musicians.

A number of guest artists from Montréal will also share the stage, celebrating the diversity and vitality of Creole cultures. These include vocalist Rebecca Jean; Jean-Christophe Germain, a former member of the acclaimed group Malavoi; and Harold Faustin and Samina of Koulkoulduo, known for blending classical jazz with Creole influences.

This concert launches the 25th anniversary edition of the Mois du Créole, an annual festival in Montréal dedicated to Creole language, music, and culture.
