Good Shows presents a sprawling seven-act electronic night at Montréal's Society for Arts and Technology, kicking off at 10:30 PM EDT on Saturday, August 1.
Headlining the international contingent is Crystallmess, a Paris-based DJ, producer, and writer celebrated for eclectic, high-energy sets that traverse club, rap, electronic, and experimental territories. Joining her is DJ Chaotic Ugly, the DJ alias of Matt Stephenson from digital hardcore and electronic punk project Machine Girl, delivering a fast and aggressive collision of metal, hardcore, rave, and gabber.
Gabber Eleganza, the project of Italy's Alberto Rinaldi, brings a deep dive into 90s hardcore, gabber, and early rave aesthetics fused with contemporary club electronics. D. Blavatsky rounds out the international lineup with dark, industrial, and heavy club textures.
Local and regional selectors The Bald Girl, Mowie, and Outback complete the bill, each bringing cutting-edge techno, experimental bass, and club rhythms to the dancefloor.
