This escape game plunges participants into the day-to-day reality of the Regional Chamber of Accounts Occitanie's control teams, from the swearing-in of magistrates through to deliberation, taking in archives, community offices and the magistrate's chambers along the way.
Teams of up to 12 have one hour to solve a series of puzzles, find keys, reconstruct an account and management control file, and confront the managers responsible — experiencing first-hand what it feels like to hold the powers of a financial magistrate.
A dedicated game booklet for younger visitors means children can also take part. The session runs from 09:00 to 12:00 at the Chambre régionale des comptes Occitanie as part of the Journées européennes du patrimoine 2026.
