X/Visions 2 is an evening dedicated to deep listening, presented at Maison symphonique. The programme brings together two acts working at the intersection of electronic and neo-classical music.
Opening the night, composer and artist Tristan Perich collaborates with organist James McVinnie on an ambitious organ composition deployed through an expanded sound system of 100 speakers placed on stage, transforming the hall into an immersive sonic environment.
Following them, Voices From the Lake — the Italian duo formed by Donato Dozzy and Neel — guides the audience through a continuous flow of ambient and atmospheric techno. Their music is characterised by glacial rhythmic shifts, deep fluid bass, and carefully sculpted soundscapes that evoke wide, open spaces.
