In the heart of the picturesque old town called Casco Antigo, do not miss the Cathedral of Palma: jewel of Gothic architecture that represents THE must-see monument of the city. By getting lost in the old town, you will not be able to miss the authenticity of its cobbled streets and lively terraces where the summer evenings are friendly. Nearby is the Royal Palace of the Almudaina dating from the thirteenth century, distinguishable thanks to its sumptuous wall and two towers. Overlooking the sea, the old alcázar offers tours to discover architecture and furniture typical of the Arab-Muslim culture of the time. In order to taste the charm of the seaside resort, go to the Paseo Maritimo, a walk along the marina where visitors go to stroll during the day, and frequent its pubs and nightclubs. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy the many activities at sea that the port offers, such as windsurfing, diving or catamaran cruises. A few kilometers from the historic center, Bellver Castle, nestled on a hill, offers stunning views of the city and bay of Palma de Mallorca. This castle will surprise you with its surprising architecture and circular shape. Inside, there is an extensive collection of Roman statues as well as the city's history museum.

Menorca is to the north-east of Mallorca, the smallest island with wild and breathtaking landscapes. Compared to Mallorca, it offers a less touristy and lively atmosphere. It will suit you perfectly if you are looking for sandy beaches as far as the eye can see and an authentic nature perfectly preserved. Moreover, there are many walking trails as well as boat trips. The island is even home to many ancient monuments as well as Roman ruins such as the Torre d'En Galmes. It is one of the most famous prehistoric villages in the Balearic Islands, where 900 people are believed to have lived between the Bronze Age and the Iron Age.

As for Ibiza, it is no longer presented. Known for its crazy festive nights, the White Island is no longer limited to this because it is the result of typical Balearic landscapes and an ancient heritage that can be found in its old town.
Its old town enjoys a special charm thanks to its buildings with immaculate facades and cobbled streets. Indeed, in order to access its picturesque old town you will have to cross the ramparts of its citadel where you will enjoy strolling. Tourists are often seduced by the commercial area of the Marina district. There are many small shops as well as local cafes that are worth a stopover. If you are looking for a warm and colorful place, the hippie market of Las Dalias is the place for you! The more than 200 colorful stalls showcase many objects designed by local artisans that seduce visitors. To swim in Ibiza, you are spoilt for choice: in the north of the island the wild beaches and in the south the wide sandy beaches. The beach of Cala d'Hort, southwest of the capital attracts holidaymakers thanks to its turquoise water but especially its unique view of huge rocks. Moreover, despite its appearance of a wild beach, many water activities are offered, including that of the Jet Boat. This high-speed boat is the favorite attraction on Cala d'Hort because of the thrills it provides.

Off the coast of Ibiza is the smallest island in the Balearic Islands: the island of Formentera, which means "land of wheat" in Catalan. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can admire the raw beauty for which the Balearic Islands are known. You can get there by ferry from the port of Ibiza to spend the day or a short stay. At the other end of the island is an atypical beach located on a narrow strip of white sand where visitors admire incredible sunsets. In addition, the village of Es Caló, in the north-east of the island, will surprise you with its wooden huts on the pier that welcome former fishermen. Many visits to places of interest are possible on the village of San Francesc Xavier. All white you can stroll through its pedestrian streets and explore its church which served as a fortress during the eighteenth century.

As you can understand, the Balearic Islands are certainly the meeting point between incomparable landscapes and beaches with transparent waters but also the legacy of a rich history and culture.
