The best thing about this archipelago called Bay of islands is its dreams miles long’ beaches. Among them Okihiki Beach on Russell Island it’s ideal for swimming, basking in the sun or even fishing. Tapua Bay is only accessible by boat. It appears with blue-green waters as if from nowhere. Long Bay stretches 4 km. It is suitable for walking, jogging or flying kites. Finally, Paihia Beach gets attention because Urupukapuka Island looks stunning from there.
