Cathedral Cove, or Te Whanganui-A-Hei, is one of New Zealand's most impressive and photographed beaches. Thanks to its breathtaking landscape, it was used as the setting for a scene in the Narnia trilogy. Hot Water Beach is also a beach that is not to be missed. It is famous for its hot springs located under the sand.
The Coromandel Peninsula is also known for its famous Route 309. Connecting the cities of Coromandel and Whitianga, it passes through many exceptional sites.
