Galileo Museum
Through its exhibitions, the Galileo Museum traces the history of several great scientific discoveries.
The Galileo Museum, located in Florence, Italy, is an international reference in the history of science. This museum brings together the prestigious collections of the Medici family and the Grand Dukes of Lorraine, including scientific instruments from different eras. In one part of the museum, visitors will be able to see two telescopes, one of which allowed Galileo to make the extraordinary discovery of Jupiter's satellites. In this same exhibition space, there are representations of terrestrial and celestial globes. The visit continues in another part of the museum, which contains ancient scientific machines used to demonstrate some of the fundamental principles of Physics.
