Ha Giang is a popular destination for those with a thirst for adventure. What makes it so special is its fabulous panorama adorned with mountains, valleys and ethnic villages.
Discovering the famous limestone plateau of Dong Van is not to be missed. It is the largest relief in Vietnam. This Geopark is to be explored without limits, allowing you to marvel at its limestone karst successions, ethnic market, flower-filled valleys and more. The passage through the Gate of Heaven of Quan Ba is obligatory to cross the area. From here, you'll notice the towering Twin Mountains.
Explore more of the province's natural beauty by hiking, with the Ha Giang Loop being a must-do activity. As you pass through Ma Pi Leng Pass, enjoy stunning views of cornfields, stilt houses, and mountainous regions. On the way, in the heart of the Sa Phin valleys, you can visit the fortified palace of the Hmong king. To spice up your stroll, climb Rông Mountain to reach the Lung Cu Flag Tower.
During your trekking, you will also be able to admire the beautiful rice terraces of Hoang Su Phi, located in the southwest of the province. From July to September, a green horizon will be enjoyed, followed by a golden landscape until November.
Take advantage of your trip by stopping in ethnic villages such as Nam Dam or Lung Tam. Walking through the latter will give you an insight into the inhabitants' cultures and traditions. ◄
