The stunning Shah Mosque has exquisite tilework and patterns just south of it. The mosque is also a treasured heritage site. The very detailed wall paintings in the Holy Savior Cathedral, known locally as the Vank Church, offer a colorful and curated interpretation of some famous bible stories. Another staggering mosque with intricate tilework that takes your breath away is the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. Iranians are people of music, so visiting the Isfahan Music Museum, which offers an eargasmic music performance at the end of every tour, is a must. If you've had enough of the mosques and wish to have a panoramic view of the city, the best spot for that is Sofeh Mountain. When the sun starts setting, the beautiful lighting at the Khaju Bridge and Si O Se Pol Bridge will make the place three times more magical than in daylight.
