On Saturday 1 August, Barri โ a neighbourhood bar on Boulevard Louis Blanc in Montpellier โ hosts a special evening in support of La Chasse, an independent short film produced by the association 57pm.studio. The film is conceived as a psychological thriller weaving together electronic music, fantasy and animation, with music at the heart of its narrative.
Taking the decks are crggio.wav, a Colombian DJ who also composed La Chasse's original score, and rade_stn, a Montpellier-based artist. Together they will bring the film's soundtrack to life alongside a broader set spanning house, disco, hardgroove and hard bounce.
The evening is imagined in collaboration with the collective Luxuriis as a celebration of the intersection between musical and cinematic creation โ a chance to discover the artistic universe of the film over a drink.
