La Perse Ensemble brings together the artistic visions of Lida SedaghatKish, Hamid Jahan, and Saman Nasrollahi in a programme that weaves classical Persian poetry with Western harmonic sensibilities.
The ensemble's instrumental palette spans dotar, santour, daf, tombak, piano, and guitar — a combination that allows the group to navigate epic Iranian tableaux, Sufi mystical poetry, and fresh reinterpretations of Persian classics within a single set.
This performance takes place on the TD stage at the Old Port of Montreal as part of Orientalys Festival 2026.
