Lakes in Slovenia

Slovenia is well-known for its numerous lakes and beautiful landscapes around the country.

The two most famous lakes are Bled and Bohinj in the northwest, not far from each other. They both offer a haven of peace, surrounded by mountains. It is possible to go hiking. One of the wildest lakes, Divje, is located in the municipality of Idrija to the west.
