One of the first points of interest is located on the side of the Lagoa da Gaivota. It is the main attraction of the municipality of Santo Amara. On the way to the site, tourists will see a beautiful lake, and breathtaking landscapes, including dune fields punctuated by vegetation and light blue lagoons. The Lagoa da Gaivota is an idyllic place to practice kitesurfing. To the east of the Park, the Lagoa da Esperança is on the border of the municipalities of Barreirinhas and Santo Amaro. It is at this precise place that the Rio Negro comes to meet the dune fields. In this regard, Barreirinhas is the ideal place to reach Lagoa Bonita. Tourists must rent a car and travel about fifteen kilometers for this. Then, at the Park's entrance, a steep slope of 30 meters must be climbed, and after all these efforts, travelers can land at the top to admire a breathtaking spectacle. Dunes, as far as the eye can see, vegetation, and lagoons, among others, are the rewards of the adventurous who will dare this ascent of the extreme. The Lagoa Azul is another point that attracts a lot of tourists. The place is soothing by its expanses of azure blue and emerald green water but also by the dune fields. In the heart of the Park, the Queimada dos Britos and the Baixa Grande stand proudly in the desert. Here bike rides are welcome; during these walks, tourists can see kingfishers or blue-winged teal in the trees. On the road, it is even possible to come across some animals, such as paca or deer, since this part of the Park contains about 113 species of plants and 112 species of animals. In addition, there are other places in the Park to visit, such as the long beach of Foz de Rio Negro, Praia de Travosa, and its surfing championship in April, or the beautiful sunset at Praia da Travos. ◄
