The Leonardo da Vinci Museum of Science and Technology in Milan is one of the world's most important museums in its field. Located in the old San Vittore Monastery which was built in the 16th century, the building first served as a military barracks and hospital before becoming a museum. Today it is one of the biggest and most visited attractions in the city. Many scientific disciplines such as physics and astronomy are represented there.
