The park also has a vast natural rainforest of breathtaking biodiversity. It is a unique opportunity to trek over several days and remember to spend the nights in a bivouac. Those who wish to be surprised by the landscape can embark on a bike ride in the countryside of Phong Nha to discover the carpets of rice fields, tiny hamlets, or caves. The more athletic will take the opportunity to kayak on one of the many streams and rivers of the national park. The latter will be able to be transported by the Chay River, going up to the primary forest to discover some underground rivers.
