Rembrandt House Museum

Formerly the residence of the famous Rembrandt, the Rembrandt House Museum in Amsterdam is now open to visitors. Rembrandt is undoubtedly one of the greatest painters of his time with a baroque style that can be found on his paintings, engravings or drawings. Rembrandt worked perfectly on the technique of chiaroscuro and was known for the materiality of his painting but also the roughness of his style, in total opposition to his contemporaries. His former place of life, fully restored, offers a leap in time to find himself in the 17th century with his studio, his paintings but also the rooms in which he lived, not to mention the cabinet of curiosities of the painter. In addition to Rembrandt's works, you can admire the artistic achievements of a few other painters from the same period.
