What are the monuments in the Tawang Valley that you should discover?
The memorial to the 1962 Sino-Indian War is one of the most interesting monuments in the Tawang Valley. This building, with an original design, is dedicated to the people who lost their lives during the war between the Indian and Chinese armies. The Urgelling Monastery is also one of the must-sees in Tawang. Built around 1489, it is known as the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama.

What places to see near Tawang?
Bap Teng Kang Falls is not far from Tawang. At about 30 meters in height, they offer a breathtaking spectacle. Many tourists come here to cool off after a hike. Shonga-tser Lake is also worth visiting. Photographers prize it for its exceptional landscapes.
