Choreographer Alma Toaspern brings __PLEX to Aveny-T's Store Scene over two days (5–6 June 2027), with performances beginning at 15:00.
The work draws inspiration from composer John Oswald's visionary 1993 album Plexure, diving into the sensory and emotional intensity of pop culture. Through physical movement, the piece examines how we navigate an era defined by relentless media noise, algorithmic remix culture and fleeting impulses.
Combining force and humour, each gesture strives to create meaning amid overstimulation. Conceived as a site-specific work, __PLEX adapts itself to the particular atmosphere of the space in which it is presented.
