Rei is a New Zealand artist of Ngāti Raukawa and Ngāti Pākehā descent whose music weaves together world music, electronic, hip-hop, pop and dance influences. Performances feature live kapa haka, traditional taonga pūoro instruments, and lyrics sung in te reo Māori.
With over 15 million Spotify streams, Rei has earned seven Waiata Māori Music Awards and five New Zealand Music Award nominations, establishing herself as a significant voice in contemporary Indigenous music from Aotearoa.
Recent releases include "Still Here" and "Ancestor NRG". This main-stage performance at Place des Festivals is part of the International First Peoples Festival 2026.
