Rouen

Rouen is the capital city of Normandy in northwestern France, located on the Seine River about 135 kilometers northwest of Paris. The city is renowned for its stunning Gothic cathedral, which inspired Claude Monet's famous series of paintings, and as the place where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431.
