Ariège

Ariège is a department in the Occitanie region of southwestern France, located in the Pyrenees mountains along the border with Spain and Andorra. The area is renowned for its prehistoric cave art, including the famous Niaux Cave with its 14,000-year-old paintings, and its dramatic mountainous landscapes that attract hikers and nature enthusiasts.
