Mount Ruapehu
New Zealand's largest active volcano and the highest peak in the North Island at 2,797 meters, featuring an active crater lake and multiple ski fields. The volcano has erupted regularly throughout recorded history, with major eruptions occurring in 1995, 1996, and 2007.
