植物園

15ヘクタールの植物園で、Cordillera地方の在来植物とIgorotの文化村の復元展示を行っています。散策路、松の木、地元の植物種と先住民文化に関する教育展示が特徴です。

The Botanical Garden in Baguio City sits on Leonard Wood Road in Benguet, in the cool highlands of the northern Philippines. It is also known as Baguio Botanical Garden or Centennial Park, and it covers about 15 hectares.

What you will see

The garden is built around native plants of the Cordillera region, so it suits visitors who want to see the flora of the mountains rather than imported ornamentals. Pine trees are part of the landscape, and walking trails wind through the grounds, making it an easy place to spend a relaxed morning or afternoon.

Replicas of Igorot village houses reflect the culture of the indigenous peoples of the Cordillera. Together with the displays, they give the visit a cultural dimension alongside the plants.

Why visit

  • Native plants: educational displays explain the local plant species.
  • Indigenous culture: village replicas introduce the Igorot heritage of the region.
  • Walking: trails through pine trees suit a slow, unhurried visit.

Planning your trip

Because the garden is in Baguio City, it fits naturally into a wider stay in the highlands, where the city's markets, viewpoints and other attractions are close by. To confirm details before you go, you can call the garden on +63 74 442 8165.
