Klaus Scherubel. Venise 1968: La Biennale de la contestation VOL. 30

The Guido Molinari Foundation presents Klaus Scherubel. Venise 1968: La Biennale de la contestation VOL. 30, on view from October 8 to December 20, 2026. The project is an immersive installation by Swiss artist Klaus Scherubel.

The work revisits the 1968 exhibition by Ulysse Comtois and Guido Molinari at the Canadian Pavilion of the Venice Biennale โ€” a landmark moment in Quebec art history that coincided with widespread political contestation. Scherubel combines image, text, publication, sculpture, and exhibition design to interrogate how the past is transmitted, remembered, and staged within museum contexts today.

The exhibition is curated by Marie-Eve Beauprรฉ and Yun Wang.
