Le Duplex is a wildly successful French comedy by playwright Didier Caron that conquered Parisian audiences and now arrives in Quebec for the very first time. The production brings together four acclaimed performers: Pascale Desrochers, Sylvain Marcel, Valérie Blais, and François Massicotte.
The story follows the Bergeron family, who live on the top floor of an apartment building and dream of expanding their home by taking over the unit directly below them, occupied by their close friends the Tessiers. Since the Tessiers have no intention of leaving, the Bergerons hatch increasingly absurd schemes to drive them out.
What follows is a cascade of twisted plans, questionable maneuvers, and delicious misunderstandings that test the limits of both friendship and shared walls — all played for maximum comedic effect.
The show takes place on November 21, 2026, at 20:00 at the Salle Ludger-Duvernay inside the Monument-National. Tickets are priced from $59.50 to $83.50 (taxes and fees included). The production is presented by Fun Nation.
