MAS Montréal unveils an exclusive preview of its Autumn-Winter 2026 collection MEND at Festival M.A.D., presenting clothing as a space for healing and reconnection. The collection's centrepiece is a denim capsule that designer Mckenna Bisson describes as among her most personal work to date.
The runway presentation plays on contrasts: the protective structure of heavy denim and rigid corduroy meets the airy fluidity of Lyocell and linen twill. Timeless, effortless silhouettes are designed to serve as a soft armour — built to endure through adjustable details and the natural movement of eco-responsible materials.
Mckenna Bisson is a self-taught Montreal-based designer with a decade of independent practice. Her philosophy rejects the idea of the body as a project to be corrected, approaching garment design as architectural — gentle structures that free movement and stand the test of time. She has received nominations for the Diversity and Inclusion prize and the prestigious Coup de Cœur du Président at the Gala MMode, as well as a distinction for the Prix Excellence Noire.
