Jazz guitar pioneer Pat Metheny returns to the road with a new band for an evening at L'Olympia in Montréal. Known for a career spanning more than four decades, the Missouri-born guitarist has fused jazz, pop and world music into a distinctive sound that has earned him twenty Grammy Awards and a place in Downbeat's Hall of Fame — the jazz world's equivalent of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, where he became the youngest ever inductee.
Metheny will be joined by a distinguished rhythm section: longtime collaborator and drummer Antonio Sanchez, bassist Linda Oh, and British pianist Gwilym Simcock. Together they will bring some of Metheny's lesser-known and most ambitious compositions to life on stage.
The concert takes place on October 6, 2026 at 7:30 PM EDT at L'Olympia, 1004 Rue Sainte-Catherine E, Montréal, Canada.
