John Metza is an Abenaki singer-songwriter from Wolinak signed to Nikamo Musik. After spending years working in construction, he turned to music as a way to reconnect with his Indigenous roots, developing a sound rooted in folk, country and blues — shaped by influences including Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Zach Bryan and Chris Stapleton.
