Fès el-Jdid
Founded in the 13th century as a royal city adjacent to Fès el-Bali, Fès el-Jdid houses the Royal Palace, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), and several ornate gardens. It served as the administrative and political center of the Marinid dynasty.
