The 11th edition of Festival Dernier Cri opens with a double bill exploring electronic and harmonic possibilities. Manchester duo Elf Traps — Rob Turner (ex-Go Go Penguin, now Mammal Hands) on drums and Liviu Gheorge (ex-Matthew Halsall) on keyboards — open with their mix of spiritual jazz, glitch electronics, jungle and ambient.
