Entre chiens et louves

Entre chiens et louves is an original contemporary circus production by Cirque Le Roux, presented exclusively at Place des Arts in Montreal. The show traces the intimate lives of three characters living across three different eras — 1850, 1960, and 2026 — weaving together their stories in a sweeping journey through collective memory, revolt, and emancipation. Eight virtuoso performers combine spectacular acrobatics, dance, theatre, and comedy in a production conceived like a cinematic sequence of tableaux.

Alexandra Stréliski joins the Cirque Le Roux artists on stage, performing live on piano a score drawn from her own compositions alongside other equally captivating pieces. The musical interpretation is shared with Julia Kotarba, Natalia Kotarba, and Jimbo Canoville.

Founded in France in 2014, Cirque Le Roux is internationally recognized for its refined aesthetic, strong narrative voice, and exceptional technical virtuosity. The company brings together artists from various countries, several of whom studied at the École nationale de cirque de Montréal, where they first met Alexandra Stréliski.

The production features choreography by Maria Carolina Vieira, text by Léonard Kahn, scenic design by Cirque Le Roux and Benoît Probst, costumes by Cirque Le Roux and Clarisse Baudinière, lighting by Pierre Berneron, and sound by Jimbo Canoville.

Tickets are priced from $62.54 to $106.78 (taxes and fees included). The run comprises 10 performances between November 4 and 15, 2026, with evening shows at 20:00 and matinées at 14:00.
