Hervé x MazelFreten

A self-taught artist and winner of a Victoire de la Musique award, Hervé has carved out, in just three albums, a place of his own in French music, with a pop-rock sound electrified by electronic beats. Between tours with his band, he returned to the stage alone — a rare occurrence — for this carte blanche devised by Chaillot, Théâtre national de la Danse, in 2025. By his side, the MazelFreten: a buzzing dance collective at the crossroads of hip-hop and electro, led by Laura Defretin and Brandon Masele, and revealed to the whole world at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games.

For both, music is a first language, a driver of movement, a matter of rhythm. Brought together by a shared passion for music and a shared taste for blending genres, they give this first-time meeting the feel of something self-evident. As original as it is exciting, it gives rise to spectacular danced concerts, full of surprises and emotion, carried from start to finish by stunning staging. Free your mind, move your body.
