DR Vokalensemblet brings their acclaimed programme 'Himmelsk lys' to the stunning interior of Marmorkirken (Frederikskirken) in Copenhagen, as part of Copenhagen Light Festival 2027. The concert explores light in all its celestial forms โ sunlight, moonlight, starlight, the aurora borealis and the eternal light of the heavens โ through choral music.
Composer and musician Christoffer Mรธller adds atmospheric electronic soundscapes on keyboard, weaving between the pure voices of the ensemble. The church's grand, stylish space is further transformed by spectacular light design that adds new visual dimensions to the performance.
The ensemble is conducted by Heide Mรผller. Previous editions of this concert have sold out completely, so early booking is strongly advised.
