On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the Orchestre national Montpellier Occitanie takes audiences on a musical journey bridging tradition and new creation. The programme opens with Lumina by American composer Nina Shekhar (born 1995), followed by the Violin Concerto No. 3 by Mozart, performed by the young South Korean prodigy Sarang Seohyun Kim. The evening closes with Prokofiev's Symphony No. 7, a work of gentle, bittersweet farewell.
The concert runs approximately 1 hour 10 minutes with no interval. Tickets are priced at a flat rate of 16 euros.
