Chapelle Colleoni

The Colleoni Chapel, also known as the Cappella Colleoni, stands on the Piazza Duomo in Bergamo, in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. It is a Renaissance monument, built as a mausoleum for the condottiero Bartolomeo Colleoni, and it is one of the best-known buildings in the city.

What to see

The building was designed in the 15th century by Giovanni Antonio Amadeo, and its decoration reflects the sculptural care of the period.
