LOC'KARTING

LOC'KARTING is a story of pure adrenaline, played out on the legendary circuit of Pérols, just a stone's throw from Montpellier. The track is a proper challenge: 700 metres of asphalt, two hairpins, seven corners, and a long straight — ten minutes of all-out racing where, helmet screwed on and hands on the wheel, everything else falls away and each driver becomes the hero of their own race. There's nothing quite like that moment just before the start, the karts lined up behind you and the chrono waiting to be beaten.

The fleet is new-generation and serviced every single day by the in-house mechanic, with a kart for every kind of pilot. The 160cc Mini Kart is built for younger drivers, the punchy 270cc Elite is for adults who want the full thrill, and a two-seater bi-place lets the very youngest discover the joys of the track alongside an adult. Access is wonderfully open: from 5 years old in the bi-place (with an adult), from 7 years and 1m30 in the mini-kart, and from 14 in the Elite. Behind it all is a warm, professional team that adapts to everyone — beginner or seasoned racer, shy first-timer or born competitor — so that every visit is a great day out, relaxed and safe.

Pricing is refreshingly straightforward. In the Mini Kart, a single 10-minute session is €17, two sessions €31, and a twelve-session pack €165; in the Elite, a session runs €21, two sessions €39, and the twelve-pack €210; while the two-seater bi-place is €28 for a 10-minute session. Children's birthday parties are catered for too, at €33. Bring your own balaclava if you have one — otherwise the team will provide one for just €2.

For smaller groups of fewer than ten pilots, no booking is needed: you simply turn up and drive. Larger gatherings can go a step further and privatise the whole circuit for a proper Grand Prix from ten drivers up — ideal among friends, colleagues, or family. LOC'KARTING also welcomes companies, works councils, and teams for cohesion days, seminars, and celebrations of all kinds, with a covered and heated terrace to regroup between heats. Flat-out fights to the final corner, mad overtakes, and an electric atmosphere — it's racing for absolutely everyone, right next door to Montpellier in Pérols.
