巴登山

越南南部最高峰,海拔986米,拥有古老寺庙和缆车通行。这是一处神圣之地,可欣赏壮丽全景并具有重要宗教意义。

Ba Den Mountain, also known as Nui Ba Den or Black Virgin Mountain, rises above the flat countryside of Tay Ninh Province in southern Vietnam. At 986 metres, it is the highest peak in the south of the country, and its summit gives one of the widest views in the region.

What to expect

The mountain is a sacred site, and visitors should approach it with that in mind. Ancient temples stand on its slopes and summit, and many people come here for worship as well as for the scenery. Dress modestly, keep your voice low near shrines, and follow the guidance of staff and signs at religious sites.

Getting to the top is straightforward. A cable car provides access, so you do not need to climb the full height on foot. The ride itself gives a changing view of the forest and surrounding plains as you rise.

The views and the surroundings

  • Panoramic views from the upper slopes and summit across the surrounding countryside
  • Temples and shrines that reflect the mountain's religious significance
  • A cable car that makes the upper part of the mountain accessible to most visitors

Ba Den suits a visit of half a day or more, combining the climb or cable car ride, time at the temples, and a long look out over the landscape. Because it sits in Tay Ninh Province rather than in a major city, it is best planned as a trip in its own right, with transport arranged in advance.

Planning your visit

For current details on access and visiting arrangements, you can contact the site by telephone at +84 276 3821 092. Those interested in the religious life of the mountain may find it worth asking about ceremonies or visiting times before setting out.
