The AC Hotel by Marriott Madison Downtown is a modern hotel in the centre of Madison, Wisconsin. It follows a European-style approach, with contemporary design throughout, and it is also known locally as the AC Hotel Madison.
What to expect
The hotel suits travellers who want a clean, up-to-date base in the city rather than a historic building. Its contemporary design and amenities give it a calm, streamlined feel, which many visitors find restful after a day of sightseeing or meetings.
Location
Its downtown position is the main draw. The hotel offers convenient access to two of the city's best-known places:
- State Street, the lively pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare lined with shops, cafés and restaurants.
- Capitol Square, the area around the state capitol building, a natural starting point for exploring the city centre on foot.
Staying here means you can reach these areas without relying on a car, and the surrounding streets make it easy to plan a relaxed day around the centre of town.
Is it right for you?
