Ashlee Lodge is a guesthouse in Blarney, County Cork, in the south of Ireland. It offers a base for travellers who want comfortable rooms and a warm, traditional Irish welcome, and it sits just minutes from Blarney Castle, one of the best-known landmarks in the county.
What to expect
The lodge offers en-suite rooms, so each guest has a private bathroom. Breakfast is included, which makes a convenient start before a day spent exploring the area. Guests who value a relaxed, personal atmosphere over a large hotel setting will find the guesthouse style suits them well.
Staying in Blarney
Because the lodge is so close to the castle, it makes an easy stay for visitors who want to walk or take a short drive to see the grounds and the famous stone. Blarney itself is a small town, and staying here gives you a chance to experience a quieter part of County Cork than the city of Cork, which lies a short distance away.
