Dordogne

Dordogne is a department in southwestern France, located in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and named after the Dordogne River that flows through it. The area is renowned for its prehistoric sites, including the famous Lascaux caves with their ancient paintings, as well as its medieval castles, picturesque villages, and distinctive cuisine featuring truffles and foie gras.
