Doubs

Doubs is a department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of eastern France, named after the Doubs River that flows through it. The department is known for its watchmaking industry, particularly centered in Besançon (the prefecture), and its beautiful natural landscapes including parts of the Jura Mountains. It borders Switzerland and is famous for its cheese production, forests, and outdoor recreational activities.
